Hope Organization For African Development (HOFAD) is an indigenous national non-governmental organization (NNGO) aimed to empower youth — girls and boys — with the right to live dignified lives devoid of any violence, and to participate fully in leadership, education and socioeconomic empowerment.
Girls and boys in South Sudan face a number of challenges from the family to the societal level: limited access to education, ownership of land, access to better health care services, and increased sexual harassment in almost every fragile location.
In order to help empower girls and improve their living, HOFAD envisioned a holistic society where every girl and boy has access to education, health care and gender equality.
